  1. Nov 25, 2016 I ran your code in version 14.7 and there was no crash. It also runs fine in 2016 PowerPoint. Try installing updates and then give it another go. Make sure your Mac has a working internet connection before checking for updates. Install Mac OS X updates followed by Office updates. Mac OS X updates.

It is undoubtedly a very useful application, but since there are many cases when Excel keeps crashing, freezes, and even locks up.
  3. Second crash with a restart in 2 days, on a laptop that NEVER crashes - not had one in 6 months (I watch for them in the log). I am guessing this is not app related, as I have crashes in two places in 2 days. The second is 'WindowServer', which I read is the process responsible for the graphics in MacOS. Are others seeing crashes with 10.15.4?
  4. Oct 28, 2013 For the last couple of days my MS Word 2011 crashes when tried to be opened (and blames WLMGraphicsDevice 14.3.8.13091 - other details below) after an earlier automatic update. Both Powerpoint and Excell (from the same Office package) work (at least they open) satisfactory and the problem seems to be limited to the Word.

1. Go to Aplication folder > Office > and find Word

2. Click right mouse button and select show package content

3. Go to Contents > Recources

4. Change name folder from pl.lproj to en.lproj

And Your MS Word bring to live' Delete anchors in word 2016.

P.s. The whole affair with the Polish version of Office also shows that the quality control and debugging by MS is not fully satisfactory. Many users depend daily on the Word and the present disruption has put a rather bad light on MS.
